ALFRED — Several area students are among the 754 students to be named to the dean’s list at Alfred State University for the spring semester.

“Alfred State has many academically talented students, and we congratulate all of those who have earned dean’s list honors for the spring 2018 semester,” said Dr. Kristin Poppo, Alfred State provost.

To be listed, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours for the semester and earn a 3.5 grade-point average. Students honored are enrolled full-time in either the School of Applied Technology; School of Architecture, Management and Engineering Technology; or the School of Arts and Sciences.

Area students recognized are: Brocton: Kayla Peting; Cassadaga: Jarod Potter, Joseph Scinta; Dunkirk: Ethan Swanson; Fredonia: Steven Mignoli, Ryan Wysong; Jamestown: Erik Johnson, Joshua Kindberg; Lakewood: Nicholas Mest; Panama: Kaci Sikora; Portland: Latham Dunn; Randolph: jalynn Ashdown, Ryan Shipherd, Jacob Steward; Salamanca: Ethan Blank, David-Ray Maurice Britt, Bruce Jimerson, Cole Lapi, Devin Parmenter; Sherman: Samuel Starceski; and Westfield: Hunter Howes.
