WESTFIELD — The Patterson Library is selling tickets for its annual spring fundraiser “An Evening of Fine Taste.”

The event will be Saturday, April 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $40 per person and admits attendees the opportunity to try a variety of local wine, food and desserts, piano music and the contributing money for library programming and materials at the Patterson Library. Tickets can be purchased from a library trustee or at the main circulation desk of the Patterson Library.

The annual event is hosted by the Patterson Society, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the Patterson Library. Musical entertainment will be provided by Karin Cockram on piano.

For adults with younger children, there will be a babysitting service in the children’s area. The service is free, but tips are encouraged.

The Patterson Library has been serving the community of Westfield since 1896. In 2015, with the help of fundraising from the Patterson Society, the library was able to host 424 programs, which included movie showings, story times, book discussions, concerts and children’s events.
