The search for a missing Jamestown man has come to an end after he was found safely on Saturday.
Christopher Allenson, 58, of Jamestown had been missing since Tuesday, May 12, prompting several searches of the area late last week as well as posters to be posted throughout the city. He had been seen on multiple doorbell cameras. The search came to an end Saturday, though there are few details being released by the family in the wake of Allenson being found.
The Jamestown Eagles Aerie 2145 lodge had served as a de facto headquarters for volunteers who took part in the search. Allenson has served as a trustee at the lodge.
“Chris Allenson is safe,” the Jamestown Eagles Aerie 2145 posted recently. “Thank you to all those who have donated the time and energy to help one of our own. The Eagles is a family and it showed these past few days.”
