Sarah Ozga and Adam Girts are the first recipients of the 96th Highlanders Pipes and Drums Scholarship, administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.

Ozga, a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, is currently in her first year studying music performance at Jamestown Community College. Girts is a freshman studying music and education at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.

The 96th Highlanders Pipes and Drums Scholarship was created to assist undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in music and is a well-rounded, hard-working student who demonstrates good citizenship.
