MD Electronics President Dudgeon Addresses Kiwanis
Bruce Dudgeon, president of MD Electronics, recently shared the dramatic story of the growth of MD Electronics with the Jamestown Kiwanis Club.
MD Electronics started with four employees in 2009 and now has more than 200 employees at its Jamestown-area facility. MD Electronics is a German company with its United States operation located in the Joseph Mason South County Industrial Park in Ellicott.
Dudgeon explained that the local operation makes cables for the automobile industry. Its major customers are Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes plants in the United States. The cables are used in the automobile audio systems and in vehicle cameras.
The Jamestown Kiwanis Club has served the Jamestown community for 95 years since its founding in 1920, with a focus on helping young people.
