Loose Change Band To Play Gazebo Concert

CHERRY CREEK – As the 2013 Cherry Creek Summer Gazebo Concert Series continues, the Loose Change Band, led by Skip Niebauer, will entertain at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the gazebo of the Memorial Park, located on Main Street, behind the Town Hall in the village.

In keeping with this season’s theme, “Easel Yourself Into Music,” students of the Pine Valley Central School’s art department will have their works on exhibit during the concert.

“Music and art are such closely linked forms of self-expression, that it will be interesting to see how the two forms integrate,” said Brenda Hendricks of the Cherry Creek Community Association Inc.

The concert will take place rain or shine, with the Pine Valley VFW on Route 83 in Cherry Creek being the alternate site in the case of inclement weather.

Supper-type refreshment will be available, and those planning to attend are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs for seating.

The 2013 Cherry Creek Summer Gazebo Concert Series is sponsored by the Cherry Creek Community Association Inc., and funded in part by the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program, supported by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and administered by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council, area businesses, the town and village of Cherry Creek and community members.

Starting at $3.50/week.
