Randolph Blood Drive

RANDOLPH – The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Randolph Fire Hall, 70 Main St., Randolph. To make an appointment or for more information, download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App. visit RedCrossBlood.org. call 1-800-733-2767 or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

Safety Village To Host Soup Cook-Off, Bakery Auction

ASHVILLE – The Chautauqua Safety Village will host its annual soup cook-off and bakery auction from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Safety Village campus, 2695 Route 394, next to BOCES. The fundraiser includes a blind taste test where the audience serves as the judges, sampling a selection of signature soups crafted by area restaurants and caterers. The winner will receive the 2026 Golden Ladle Award. A live bakery auction will give those attending an opportunity to bid on an array of desserts and artisanal pies donated by local bakeries and restaurants. All proceeds directly benefit the Chautauqua Safety Village’s life safety programs that include hands-on education in emergency response, accident prevention and life-saving skills. The Chautauqua Safety Village is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to training children and the community in injury prevention and safety education through interactive, real-world simulations.

North Lake Sewer District Board To Gather

The North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, in the Carlson Center in Lakeside Park, Mayville. The meeting is open to the public.
