CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — HANOVER — At around 11 p.m. Saturday the Chautuaqua County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Allegany Road. The operator was identified as Michael E. Davis, 58, of Dunkirk. Further investigation found Davis to be driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and failure to stop at a stop sign. He will be in the town of Hanover court at a later date and time.
