A Jamestown man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill a federal agent on social media. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that 43-year-old Matthew White, 43 was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with communicating interstate threats, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Teen charged with rape

FREWSBURG – A Jamestown teenager has been charged with rape. According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, in early June 2025 the office’s Criminal Investigation Division took an alleged sex offense complaint. Through investigation of this complaint it was determined that 19-year-old Hunter Wilburn engaged in sexual intercourse with another person without their consent. On Monday, Hunter was arrested and charged with third-degree rape. Wilburn will answer for these charges in the Town of Carroll Court.
