Investigation continues into accident involving juvenile

STOCKTON – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation of a motor vehicle bicycle accident. On Thursday around 2:15 p.m. deputies responded to a juvenile that had been struck by a motor vehicle while riding his bicycle on Frisbee Road in the town of Stockton. It is reported that the juvenile sustained serious physical injuries and was transported to Oishei Hospital in Buffalo. Further information will be released at a later date and time.

Three arrested in Silver Creek overdose

Three people from out of state have been arrested in connection to a drug overdose involving a Silver Creek resident. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that Leeladhar H. Tandel, 44, of Mobile, AL, Barry M. Wright, 55, of Marietta, GA, and Jesus Andon, 56, of St. Louis, MO, were arrested and charged by criminal complaint with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, controlled substances, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
