Jamestown Man Convicted On Drug, Gun Charges

A Jamestown man has been found guilty of selling illegal drugs in Cattaraugus County and having a stolen weapon. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that a federal jury convicted Trenton Grant, 31, of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes, and felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Juvenile injured after driving vehicle

STOCKTON – An unidentified juvenile has been hurt while operating a motor vehicle. According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday around 11 p.m. deputies responded to a reported vehicle off the roadway on Stockton-Hartfield Road in the town of Stockton. As a result of the accident, it was found that the juvenile operator had sustained injuries. The juvenile operator was later transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital in the City of Dunkirk by Stockton EMS to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

One person was arrested following a traffic stop in Ripley for allegedly being in the United States illegally. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that Jose Roberto Perez-Solis, 31, a citizen and national of Mexico, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with re-entry of a removed alien, which carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
