A South Dayton man has pleaded guilty to enticement and having sex with a 14-year-old girl. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Thursday that Ronald A. Howard, 59, entered the plea before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. It carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life. Four injured in Saturday night boat collision

MAYVILLE --- Four individuals were taken to regional hospitals after a boat collision on Saturday night in Chautauqua Lake. The Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Prendergast Boulevard around 11:10 p.m. for the incident. There was three people on one boat and five on the other. Three victims were injured from the accident and transported to UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown for their injuries, and one was then flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie for non-life-threatening injuries. Forestville teen drowns in rough Lake Erie waters

ANGOLA --- The Evans Police Department is investigating a drowning in the rough waters that took place at Lake Erie Beach Park on Friday, claiming the life of a 15-year-old Forestville boy. Police, in a release issued Saturday, said they responded at 3:31 p.m. to the report of the boy who had reportedly gone underwater and did not resurface. The teen was located after being spotted by park lifeguards who then removed him from the lake and began life-saving measures until additional emergency personnel arrived.
