Pearl City Clay House Opens Exhibit Saturday

The Pearl City Clay House will open its newest exhibition, What We Carry, a solo exhibition by artist Angela Caley, on Saturday, March 14. An artist reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The exhibition will remain on display through April 26 and is open to the public during regular studio hours. What We Carry features 11 new oil and mixed-media works that explore the emotional landscapes of the human experience. BOCES, Chautauqua Health & Fitness To Host Community Wellness Event

DUNKIRK - Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES is partnering with Chautauqua Health & Fitness to host a Community Wellness Event on Friday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will be held at Chautauqua Health & Fitness, 1170 Central Ave., Dunkirk, with support from a $1,000 Service Learning Mini-Grant from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. Police seek assistance in hit-and-run

Dunkirk police are asking for the public’s assistance in a hit-and-run accident involving a vehicle and bicyclist. At approximately 8:57 p.m. Sunday, Dunkirk Police along with Dunkirk Fire responded to Lincoln Avenue near West Talcott Street for a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, the suspect vehicle had fled the scene and the victim was located on the side of the road. Officers rendered medical aid until Dunkirk Fire personnel arrived on scene.
