On Thursday, in a 3-0 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division win over North Collins, Spillane scored another goal to help the Red Dragons completed a perfect league (10-0) and overall (15-0) regular season.

Maddie Welsh had seven kills and a block in Maple Grove’s 25-14, 25-14, 25-15 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division defeat of Southwestern on Tuesday. On Wednesday in a 25-10, 25-14, 25-18 league win over Falconer, Welsh had 10 kills and a block. Welsh then had nine kills and three blocks in a 25-16, 25-16, 25-14 non-league sweep of Allegany-Limestone on Friday.

On Tuesday, Sullivan finished third to help Southwestern take second place in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association meet.

Kiah Johnson won the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.53) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.19) in Frewsburg/Falconer’s 122-61 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association win over Chautauqua Lake/Westfield on Thursday. On Tuesday in a 111-74 CCAA win over Fredonia/Silver Creek/Forestville/Brocton, Johnson won the 50-meter freestyle (29.44) and 100-meter backstroke (1:13.67).

Bernadette Gens won the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association singles crown at the tennis championships Friday at the Lakewood Family YMCA. Gens beat Fredonia teammate Alicia Kluck in the finals after knocking off Chautauqua Lake’s Emily Bauer in the semifinals. On Wednesday, Gens beat Falconer’s Lauren Allen and Olean’s Maggie Waugh in the opening two rounds.
