The Chautauqua Lake JV volleyball team won the 2018 Cheektowaga Invitational Volleyball Tournament on Saturday. The Thunderbirds went unbeaten in their pool by defeating Alden, Starpoint, West Seneca West and Cheektowaga. They beat Southwestern in the semifinals, 30-15. Chautauqua Lake topped Sacred Heart, 25-21, in the first set and were behind by six points in the second set, but were able to come back and win 25-22.
