A man who was riding a jet ski near the Dunkirk Pier avoided significant injuries after the vessel apparently burst into flames. The incident happened just after 3 p.m. today and fire and rescue crews rushed to the scene. Black smoke from the waters could be seen across the city skies. Though there is nothing yet official, the man sustained minor injuries to his face. Oil and gas from the watercraft also caught on fire in the lake.
