Westfield Fire Department Dedicates New Truck

On behalf of the village and town boards, Westfield Mayor Mike Vandevelde presents a dedication plaque to First Assistant Chief Christopher Reese of the Westfield Fire Department for the department’s new rescue truck 291. As part of the dedication ceremony Mayor Vandevelde also declared Aug. 21, 2018, as John Hanmann day in Westfield. Mayor Vandevelde is pictured reading a proclamation recognizing Hanmann for his 30 years of volunteer service to the Westfield Fire Department, and for his role as the special truck committee advisor for the acquisition, outfitting and deployment of Rescue 291.
