Meth, Cash Found During Search Of Chautauqua Home

A pound of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cash were found during the search of a town of Chautauqua home Thursday.
The search of 7246 Beaujean Road around 1 p.m. and recovery of items included the Jamestown Metro and Southern Tier Regional drug task forces. Entry was gained to execute a search warrant by members of the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team.
In addition to the meth, investigators recovered 90 grams of fentanyl and $29,000.
No arrests were announced, though an investigation remains ongoing, the Sheriff’s Office said Friday in a news release.
