Michael R. “Mike” and Debralene E. “Debbi” Baker Carlson
Michael R. “Mike” Carlson, 65, of Frewsburg, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 with his family by his side.
He was born on February 8, 1961 in Jamestown, a son of the late Richard P. and Maribelle Patterson Carlson.
Mike was a 1980 graduate of Frewsburg Central School.
Prior to retiring, he was employed at Vac-Air Alloys (Keywell) for many years.
Mike was an avid NASCAR fan and bowler, earning many awards for high scoring games and was a member of the United States Bowling Association. He enjoyed working on cars and, along with his wife, Debbi, loved hosting 4th of July parties.
He is survived by his son Jeremy Baker; two grandsons: Kole and Logan Baker; four siblings: Mary (Dennis) Brink, Patty Mead, Vicky Williams, Richard M. (Sue) Carlson; his daughter-in-law Lisa Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Debralene E. “Debbi” Baker Carlson, whom passed away on July 3, 2026; and two brothers-in-law Fred Williams and Sam Zembardo.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 10, 2026 in Peterson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
Friends will be received from 4-7 pm on Thursday in the funeral home.
