James Campbell

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. –James Campbell, 74, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at his home in Englewood, Fla., of natural causes.

Mr. Campbell was born Dec. 23, 1945, in Olean, N.Y., the son of the late George and Josephine (Saulsgiver) Campbell. James graduated from Randolph Central School in 1964.

James loved to go camping with his family, and he was an excellent salesmen and woodmaker. He enjoyed restoring antique furniture and playing card games.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Sara) Campbell of Cutchogue, N.Y.; two daughters: Brenda (David) Horton of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Lori (George) Hudson of Wendell, N.C.; and the mother of James children, Violet Campbell Crocker; eight grandchildren: David Horton, Stephanie Sendon, Matthew Horton, Daniel Horton, Hunter Campbell, Jett Campbell, Caleb Hudson and Ashley Hudson; three great-grandchildren: Jacob and Lucas Horton and Link Sendon.

Mr. Campbell is additionally survived by his brother, Richard Campbell; sisters: Dolores Maynard and Jean Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don Campbell; and stepfather, Glenn “Bud” Morrison.

Due to the restrictions of the Coronavirus, a memorial service will be at a later date and announced by the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph, NY.
