Frewsburg Boys, Girls Beat Gowanda In Track & Field At Southwestern

WEST ELLICOTT — The Frewsburg boys and girls track and field teams posted Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association victories over Gowanda on Monday at the Sirianni Athletic Complex in West Ellicott. The Frewsburg boys won 78-59 with Lucas Randolph and Noah Erickson providing two wins apiece. Randolph won the 200 and 400 meters at 23.6 seconds and 52.6 seconds, respectively, while Erickson posted victories in the 400 hurdles at 1:01.8 and the triple jump at 38 feet, 5.5 inches for the Bears (1-1). Registration for the Jamestown Area Youth Football Camp is underway. The camp, which will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 29 through July 2, will be held at Strider Field for all youngsters ages 5-12, not just those who live in Jamestown. The goal is for campers to have fun and to learn/improve on football fundamentals under the supervision of Jamestown High School football coaches and current players. The cost is $60.
