LAKEWOOD — Frewsburg/Southwestern shut out Jamestown 5-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis action at the Lakewood YMCA on Friday. Frewsburg/Southwestern’s Claire Spielman held off Aleah Loveless in a marathon match that went to tie breakers twice, winning 6-3, 6-7 (8-10), 7-6 (7-5) in first singles and Kelsey Fischer added the other singles win. HINSDALE — Sophomore Josh Swan threw three touchdowns in his first career start to lead Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton (1-1, 1-0) past Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale (1-1, 0-1) 35-12 in Class C South football Friday.
