Yaggers Share Medalist Honors

FALCONER — Lauren Yagger and Avery Yagger of Falconer shared medalist honors with a 49, but Southwestern claimed the team match 30-25 in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls golf match at Breezewood Links on Friday. Ellie Rounds paced the Trojans (6-4, 5-4) with a 54. The Golden Falcons’ record dropped to 0-8 and 0-8. Pickleball For A Cause

The House of Hope pickleball tournament was held earlier this month at the Lakewood YMCA. The 43-team event raised more than $5,000 for the cause. Following are the results in each classification.

Registration is currently taking place for the Jamestown Area YMCA’s 38th annual Battle of Businesses, which will be held Sept. 12-19. The Battle consists of two divisions — a Large Division (with 121 employees or more) and the Small Division (with 120 employees or less).
