WEST SENECA — Brady Coughlin hit a double and a grand slam, finishing with 5 RBIs and two runs scored as West Seneca West defeated Jamestown 12-5 in Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 action Wednesday. Chase Bonta led the Jamestown (4-10, 2-7) effort with a double and 2 RBIs, Maddox Thompson knocked an RBI double and Ryan Engquist hit an RBI and scored. LAKEWOOD — Tim Sandberg shot a 40 for low gross and William Kowk fired a 30 for low net to highlight action in the Youngsville Senior Golf League at Maplehurst Country Club. The Jamestown boys’ track & field team finished off its season 4-1 with a 75-66 win over Clarence in an Erie County Interscholastic Conference meet Wednesday at Strider Field. Jorge Rivera Jr. led the way with three wins (high jump, discus and long jump), while Beckett Lumia put in impressive performances by winning the 200 meters and the 400-meter hurdles.
