Swan leads Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton past Gators

HINSDALE — Sophomore Josh Swan threw three touchdowns in his first career start to lead Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton (1-1, 1-0) past Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale (1-1, 0-1) 35-12 in Class C South football Friday. Swan finished 8 of 15 for 135 yards and the three scores to go along with an interception. SHERMAN — McKenna Kolstee recorded 16 kills and five blocks as Panama swept Sherman 25-21, 25-20, 25-22 in nonleague volleyball action on Friday night.
