Jake Youngberg and Bryce Peterson had two hits apiece to lead the Stuart Tool & Die A’s past the Jamestown Mattress Expos 7-5. Adam Erickson doubled and Jimmy Quinn chipped in a two-run single to pace the nine-hit attack for the A’s. Travis Butcher scattered six hits in five innings while striking out eight to earn the win on the mound. Jake Donaldson had three hits and Dylan Caldwell had two to back losing pitcher Jake McDonald.

WATTSBURG, Pa. — The Wednesday Travel League began the month of July in extreme heat at Scenic Heights Golf Course. Josh Hilliker won his fifth event of the season, posting the low round of 79. Ed Tofil finished second with 82 and Jeff Nelson and Tom Sacilowski tied for third with 84s. Hilliker led the front nine with 38 and Nelson led the back nine with 40. John Waterman won the B Flight.
