CUTTING — Max White dropped a 246-214-198-658 to power Clymer/Sherman to a 4-0 sweep of Chautauqua Lake in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 boys bowling Wednesday at Cutting Lanes.
Ashton Hosier had a 204-176-193-573 and Dayton Hosier rolled a 186-186-525 for the Wolves (49-7), who finished with a team linescore of 1,019-883-888-2,790.
Alanna Delcamp led the Eagles (32-20) with a 200-193-208-601. As a team, Chautauqua Lake finished with a 776-757-722-2,255.
FURMAN LEADS BULLDOGS
Chris Furman’s 194-185-541 led Brocton to a 3-1 Division 2 win over Maple Grove at Jamestown Bowling Company.
Tim Brunecz had a 197-477 and Allen Blattenberg rolled a 183-461 for the Bulldogs (36-16), who finished with an 803-743-713-2,259.
Max Collins spun a 178-445 and Kam Brown had a 181-432 for the Red Dragons (23-29), who tossed a 689-600-717-2,006.
GOWANDA BOYS, GIRLS SWEEP
SPRINGVILLE — Gavin Whitcher tossed a 171-188-223-582 to lead Gowanda to a 4-0 Division 3 boys sweep of Ellicottville at Cascade Lanes.
Morgan Ruff had a 217-543, Nicholas Smuda added a 188-173-507 and Zachary Hojnacki spun a 203-499 for the Panthers (39-1), who finished with a linescore of 904-964-963-2,831.
Carson Mendell led the Eagles (23-17) with a 178-483 as they finished with a 704-746-747-2,197.
Gowanda’s girls also won 4-0, led by Bailey Shields’ 191-194-538.
