DISTRICT 38 LITTLE LEAGUE

MAJORS DIVISION

Owen Walburg hit a walk-off two-run double as the Southwestern A’s beat Frewsburg’s Storage Linc 7-6 in seven innings.

Kolten Bouckhuyt reached on an error and Alex Olson walked to open the seventh inning before Walburg’s game-winning hit.

Storage Linc led 3-0 after the top of the first inning. Jackson Butzer walked and Bryan Heald singled before Curtis Spielman reached on an error, driving in Butzer. Lincoln Moller followed with an RBI single and Spielman later scored on an error.

Storage Linc made it 4-0 in the third when Heald walked with two outs and scored all the way from first on Spielman’s RBI single to center field.

The A’s got two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Liam McCartney walked and Leo Irons reached on an error before McCartney scored on a passed ball. Irons later scored on a wild pitch.

The A’s tied the game with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth. Akeley Meredith and Julian Hasson reached on back-to-back one-out walks and Meredith eventually scored on a double steal. With two outs, Hasson stole home.

Storage Linc regained its two-run lead in the top of the seventh inning. Logan Godwin and Jackson Levandoski reached on back-to-back dropped third strikes before Godwin scored on a dropped third strike and Levandoski scored on Hunter Waid’s sacrifice fly.

Moller, Butzer and Heald combined to strike out 10 for Storage Linc, while Jack Churchill, Olson and Mason Winchester combined to strike out 15 for the A’s.

JAMESTOWN BABE RUTH LEAGUE

MINORS DIVISION

Rodgers Survey defeated the Tarp Skunks 3-2.

Drew Maggio, Bryson Peterson, Jacoby Genco and Xadiel Cruz combined for the win on the mound.

At the plate, Peterson and Nolan Maio each had an RBI, while Maggio and Cruz each had two hits.

For the Tarp Skunks, Ayden Faulkner, Kyle Dilker and Grant Langworthy handled the pitching. The Tarp Skunks picked up hits from Langworthy, Dilker and Taydin Hallowell.

ROOKIES DIVISION

Lewis & Lewis defeated Shults Auto 3-2.

For Shults, Joey Lombardo was the offensive star and Santino Yarber played great defense.

For Lewis & Lewis, Jet Ferrara shined on offense and Landon Conti had a great defensive night.
