BIG FLATS — Flyers competitive gymnasts recently competed in the Elmira Spring Fling. Flyers Level 5 team captured a first-place team banner and Level 4 captured third place.

Leading the Level 5 team was Kamille Garza, who captured first on bars (9.05) and beam (9.2), second on floor (9.025), and first in all-around with a score of 35.675. Lilli Neubauer grabbed first on vault (9.0), third on bars (8.75), first on floor (9.15) and second in all-around with a score of 35.10. McKenna Hart earned third on beam (8.675) and third in all-around (34.65). Madilyn Gordon grabbed third on vault (9.0) and second on bars (8.825).

At Xcel Diamond, Elayna Pitts captured second on vault (9.0), second on bars (8.75), second on beam (9.375), third on floor (9.375) and second in all-around (36.5). Capturing top three on events at Xcel Platinum were Madelyn Widen, who grabbed first on bars (9.325); and Kennedy Lynn, who earned second on beam (9.45). At Xcel Gold, Morgan Robbins captured second on vault (9.45), Erinn Suga was first on vault (9.35) and Cassidy Dubois took first in all-around (34.425). At Level 4, Claire Thompson earned third on beam (9.8).
