Pence Has Another Career High As Randolph Rolls Past Gowanda

RANDOLPH — Junior Quinn Pence upped her career high for the second time in three games as Randolph coasted past Gowanda 75-28 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 East girls basketball Friday night.

Pence scored 25 points to go along with 13 steals, five rebounds and five assists, while Skylar Herington added 21 points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Cardinals (8-4, 3-0), who led 31-6 after the first quarter.

Zoey Dickerson pulled down 12 rebounds, Ryanne Bushey had six assists and Sadie Steward had three steals in the win.

Corrina John led the Panthers (2-10, 0-3) with 16 points.

Teghan Trocki led the Bears (12-2, 4-0) with 20 points, eight rebounds and six steals to go along with five assists; Jadyn Trocki had 18 points, seven assists, seven steals and six rebounds; Abery Harvey had 14 points; and Taytum Jimerson had 13 points and six rebounds.

Frewsburg, which made 11 3-pointers, led 44-12 at halftime.

Emiley Anderson led the Cougars (6-4, 1-2) with 8 points.

PANAMA — Kaitlyn Horton had 15 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, while Kiera Loberg added 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists as Panama beat Westfield 45-42 in Division 2 West play.

Kylie Morgan chipped in 10 points and 13 rebounds for the Panthers (2-10, 2-4), who have won two straight games. Panama led 13-2 after the first quarter.

Tanleigh Bestine led the Wolverines (8-4, 3-2) with 33 points and 10 rebounds, while Olivia Wolfe had four assists.

Wagner finished with 21 points and five steals, while Tayden Persons grabbed 12 rebounds and Emmersen Crawford had eight rebounds for the Wildcats (9-3, 6-1).

Seven Southwestern players scored as the Trojans beat Allegany-Limestone 61-30 in Division 1 West play.

Reece Beaver led Southwestern (4-6, 2-0) with 19 points and four assists; Ellie Pearson had 13 points; Madi McIntyre had 11 points and nine rebounds; Lauren Cotter had 9 points and 14 rebounds; and Bella Sirianni had five steals in the win.

The Trojans led 32-17 at halftime after a 25-8 second quarter.

Mya Hayes led the Gators (7-5, 2-2) with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Addie Fisher had 8 points. Maddie Kahm chipped in six rebounds and two assists.
