The Frewsburg Bears girls soccer team flawlessly ran through Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West action with a 10-0 record that included 79 goals for and zero against.

With that kind of dominance it is no surprise that Frewsburg earned the Offensive Player of the Year honor and four players were named to the First Team.

Back-to-back Post-Journal/OBSERVER Player of the Year Alexandra Hultberg earned the top offensive honors in the league as she scored 26 goals to go along with 26 assists in all competitions this season.

Hultberg also earned a spot on the First Team where she was joined by teammates Jacey Cappa on defense, forward Ava Jimerson and midfielder Taytum Jimerson.

Earning Defensive Player of the Year honors was Hailey Jasinski for the North Collins Eagles. Jasinski made the move to goalkeeper for the Eagles and was credited by North Collins head coach Vince Fininzio as the turning point for the Eagles’ season. Jasinski was joined on the First Team by her sophomore teammate Breanna Kaczonowski, who scored seven goals and one assist in all competitions.

The second most First-Team selections belonged to Chautauqua Lake as sophomores Jada Cole and Taylor Donato were joined by senior teammate Erma Wolcott. The trio helped the Thunderbirds to a second-best league record of 7-2-1.

The bottom three teams in the league just received one First-Team selection with Makartnee Mortimer representing Westfield/Brocton, Madilyn Seastrom representing Maple Grove and Kim Bauer representing Silver Creek/Forestville.

The Team Sportsmanship Award went to the Westfield/Brocton Wolverines.

The Individual Sportsmanship winners were Braelyn Stelmack of Frewsburg, Megan Blakeslee of Chautauqua Lake, Brooke Gabel of North Collins, Avery Swank of Westfield/Brocton, McKenzie Wadsworth of Maple Grove and Brooke Waterman of Silver Creek/Forestville
