Southwestern knocked off Maple Grove in three sets, 25-14, 25-19, 25-20, for a nonleague volleyball win at home on Thursday.

The Trojans were led by Arrington Restivo with four digs, 23 assists and one ace; Lauren Cotter with two digs, 14 kills, an ace and two blocks; Jaidyn Newhouse had two digs, nine kills and four aces while Payton Swartz added six digs.

Maple Grove’s effort powered by Erin Mansfield with four aces, 11 assists and six digs; Eliza Dawes had seven kills and two digs; Hayley Johnson recorded four kills and Megan Lockwood had seven digs.

Southwestern jayvees also won.

CLYMER/SHERMAN SWEEPS

SHERMAN — Clymer/Sherman swept visiting Ellicottville in three sets, 25-22, 25-18, 25-12, for a nonleague win.

Clymer/Sherman’s Janelle Burchanowski picked up 15 assists, recorded three aces and had a kill; Cora Goldberg had 10 kills, five blocks and an ace; Hayden Fisher scored four aces, four kills and a block and Natalie Johnson had three aces, three assists, a block and a kill.

Ellicottville was led by Natalee Leiper with 10 digs, five kills and four block; Allison Rowland had 16 digs and three kills and Dalayla Alexander had nine digs, two kills and an ace.
