CORRY, Pa. — The Lakewood YMCA gymnastics team competed at the Corry Invitational on Feb. 19.

At Level 6, Allison Latona took first place on the beam (8.5) and fifth place on the floor (8.65) en route to a fourth-place all-around finish (32.9). Mersadies Nichols took third on the bars (7.5) en route to a fifth-place all-around finish (32.4).

At Level 5, Amelia Seiberg took first place in all-around with a 29.3. She was first on the vault (8.8), first on the bars (6.7) and first on the beam (7.1). Leah Dole took first in floor exercise (7.2).

At Level 4, Aubree Evans took first on the vault (8.9).

At Level 3, age 11 and up, Cameron Case was second on the vault (9.1), third on the beam (8.9), third on the floor exercise (8.9) and fourth on the bars (7.4) en route to a second-place all-around finish (33.95). Ava Johnson was sixth on the beam (8.55), Macie Bruce was sixth on the bars (6.8), and Skyler Norlander was 10th on the bars in addition to an 8.0 on the vault.

At Level 3, age 10, Brailey Melquist was sixth on the beam (8.5).

At Level 2, age 9 and up, Bella Goshgarian was seventh on the vault (8.55) en route to an eighth-place finish in all-around (34.0). Katie Upton was 13th on the bars and scored an 8.4 on the beam.

At Level 2, ages 6-7, Izzibella Ordines was second on the beam (9.2), third on the vault (8.9) and fifth on the bars (8.65) en route to a fifth-place all-around finish (34.9).

At Level 2, age 8, Caroline Brown was second on the beam (9.1), third on the vault (8.5), fifth on the bars (8.35) and sixth on the floor (8.2) en route to a third-place all-around finish (34.15). Lauren Perez was third on the beam (8.9) and fourth on the vault (8.4) while Allie Arnone was second on the vault (8.6) en route to a fifth-place all-around finish (32.95).

The YMCA gymnasts will compete in Greensburg, Pennsylvania this weekend.
