MONDAY LEAGUE

Fruit of the Brooms’ 2-0 week has catapulted them to the top of the division, pulling off wins against Shoeless Joe’s Pub (46-45) in overtime and Tim Horton’s (37-30), thanks to Ed and Steve Cramer. CurlRona had an outstanding night, collecting 105 total points with wins over 4 Below Haggy’s Bar & Grille (54-46) and Curling Me Softly (51-30) with Jade Barber and Jessica Pietrkiewicz leading the way. Sonic Sliders earned two victories over Scuba Crew (37-34) and Gemstone (28-26), as Rodney Morgenstern was their top curler. Shoeless Joe’s Pub defeated Legion of Broom (37-29) with Chad Waddington leading the way. 4 Below bounced back with a (30-23) victory over the Scuba Crew, with Becca Allen being its leading curler. Curling Me Softly ended up going 1-1 with a victory over Tim Horton’s (36-29) with strong play from Greg Fye and Mike Wilson. Legion of Broom defeated Gemstones (47-34), as Adam Irgang led the Broomsmen, while Colette Keith and Kim Wiggers played well for the Gemstones

MONDAY LEAGUE

Short & Curly took over the lead in the division by improving its record to 4-2, as they defeated Rolling Stones (42-31) and Stone Cold (46-24) as Jasen Swanson and John Fisk slid their way to the two victories. The On the Rocks went 2-0 on the week with wins over Mary’s Smooth Red Curlers (30-27) and The Outsliders (39-32), with Captain Dan Gustafson leading the way. Quaranteam also went 2-0 on the week, with wins over the Red Curlers (36-30) and Outsliders (43-31), as Nick Baglia led the way. Rolling Stones defeated The Don Curleones (35-17) as Sandy Stimson showed her curling prowess. Stone Cold also recorded a win over The Curleones (34-27), with their top curler being Josiah Blanchard. Mike Allen and Marty Abers played well in defeat.

WEDNESDAY LEAGUE

Merrill Lynch Cirls remained at the top of the standings and undefeated with two wins over Pepsi Rockstar-Z (45-34) and Hindy’s Hurlers (38-34) as they received outstanding performances from Darcy Cramer and Bonnie Magers. Rocks on, Rocks off also knocked off the Rockstar-Z (47-35) and Hindy’s Hurlers (43-40), receiving strong play from James Cama. Also going 2-0 on the night, was the Pepsi Banger-z as they bested Casey’s Enterprise (56-38) and Curl Power (50-38) behind Mia Goot’s strong play. Casey’s Enterprise bounced back as it knocked off TRCurlers (37-33), led by Casey Windoft, and TRCurlers defeated Curl Power (42-40) earlier, as Kevin Anderson and Bruce Main were their top curlers.

WEDNESDAY LEAGUE

Curls Gone Wild earned two victories as it defeated Lewis & Lewis II (45-22) and Paving Ice (42-37) with Mark Snow and Ben Snow being the top curlers. Paving on Ice bounced back with a victory over the Ice Men (23-14) as Kevin Garsol led the way. John Panebianco was outstanding for Lewis and Lewis I, in their second game and gave the team added punch to knock out the Ice Men (28-25). The Brush Offs went 2-0 again this week, as it received outstanding play from Kyle Rahr and Jarrett Kingsbury to remain undefeated. Lewis and Lewis II earned a (38-27) victory over Sky Rocketeers as Zack Panebianco led the way. Also going 1-1 on the night was Sky Rocketeers with Jason Britt being their top curler.

WEDNESDAY LEAGUE

Steve Chambers led Dot’s Gift Boutique to 2-0 week, as they defeated Home Despots (42-34) and Curl Power (38-37). Sub Zero recorded two wins and jumped to the top of the standings, as they bested the 12 oz. Curlers (34-15) and Frozme Stones (37-19), with Dave Currie and Ruth Kriese showing their curling prowess. 12 oz. Curlers bounced back with a defensive (16-14) win over Lemon Pepper, with Tim Sturges controlling the house. Frozme Stones also topped Lemon Pepper (23-12) with Chris Dole leading the way. Curl Power was victorious over Stones of Fury (48-37) as they were led by Jill Laemmerhirt. Home Despots also knocked off Stones of Fury (42-29) as Casey Colburn was their smooth curler in the win.

4:30 RYAN DEPPAS – LEGEND GROUP FRIDAY LEAGUE

Tracy’s Dogs jumped up into second place with their two victories over Bemus Boulders (40-37) and The Chestnuts (38-35), as Bob Paterniti delivered the deciding stone on the final shot, along with strong support from Joanna Paterniti. Sweeping Beauties picked up two wins over Seminar Group (50-46) and Bottom Up (43-15) as Judy Briggs was their top curler. The Bemus Boulders bounced back with a tight (30-29) win over Nikki’s Team as they received outstanding play from Peter Sullivan. Freezerburn captured a victory over The Chestnuts (34-31), with Steve Tanner leading the way. 4 Below Haggy’s Bar & Grille earned a hard-fought win, as it topped Bottom Up (49-47) with Claire Ohls being the outstanding curler and Paul Rizzo was Bottom Ups leader. Seminar Group defeated Freezerburn (44-39) with Peter Stark leading the way.
