PORTVILLE — Third-seeded Portville was a straight-set winner over No. 6 Chautauqua Lake in Section VI Class C-2 quarterfinal volleyball action on Thursday, taking home a 25-20, 25-21, 25-14 victory.

Leading the winners was Kylie Blessing with a season-high 37 assists, seven kills, five digs and two aces.

Laura Wilhelm had 10 kills and two blocks; Olivia Emley 18 digs; while Hailey Keim and Tori Unverdorben each had seven kills.

Chautauqua Lake’s year comes to an end at 12-3 while Portville improves to 17-0.
