High school programs from across Western New York will make the trip to Strider Field today for the Joe Paterniti Memorial Track and Field Classic.

Track events will kick off at 4:15 p.m. with the 3,200-meter steeplechase while field events will begin at the same time starting with the pole vault.

The Paterniti Memorial will also host a pair of Jason DeJoy Memorial Races, 1,500 meters for the girls and 1,600 meters for the boys.

Spectators will be charged a $1 entrance fee and will receive a complimentary program.

Additional programs will be $1 and the concession stand will be open.
