GIRLS TENNIS Elizabeth Kane Southwestern On Thursday, Kane was able to recover from a first-set loss on her way to a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over Jenna Hayes to help the Trojans claim a 3-2 win over Maple Grove. On Friday, Kane topped Chautauqua Lake’s Logan Walczak, 6-3, 6-1.
GIRLS SWIMMING Katja Kranzo Southwestern On Thursday, Katja Kranzo led the Trojans to a win over Chautauqua Lake/Westfield by taking home the 200-yard individual medley in 2:27.26 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:16.35.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY Kylee Odell Clymer/Sherman/Panama Kylee Odell was the girls individual winner at the Southern Tier Classic, clocking an 18:30 to help the Wolfpack finish in first place with 53 points.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY Ronan McDonald Randolph Ronan McDonald finished in 16:52.9 to take home the boys race at the Southern Tier Classic meet in Allegany Limestone on Saturday. That lifted the Cardinals to a team title with 49 points.
GIRLS SOCCER Emily Timmerman Fredonia Emily Timmerman led Fredonia to a 2-0 win over Chautauqua Lake on Wednesday with the game-winner in the closing seconds of halftime, and scored four goals in an 8-0 win over Dunkirk on Friday.
VOLLEYBALL Olivia Anderson Chautauqua Lake On Tuesday, Olivia Anderson led the Thunderbirds to a come-from-behind, five-set win over Maple Grove with 25 kills, three aces and 20 digs while adding 26 kills, 24 digs, five aces and four blocks in a win over Southwestern on Thursday.
