MEN’S OVER 30 LEAGUE

Jason Anderson scored 29 points and Danny Thomas had 16 points as SKM opened up with a 57-38 verdict over the Jock Shop in the first week of the YMCA Over-30 Basketball League.

Vinny Fanara hit 16 points for the Jock Shop.

Bob Samuelson scored 28 points, Eric Johnson had 17 points and Mike Greiner scored 11 points as Lakewood Laundromat edged Southside Pharmacy, 69-68.

Andy Swanson had 26 points and Tim Johnson scored 24 points in the loss.

John Haskins and Tony Stewart scored 22 points each as West Herr shaded the Pub, 64-63.

Bob Bane recorded 22 points and Chris Hooks had 15 points in the setback.

Tom Eckwahl scored 37 points, Vinny Fanara 20 and Andy Eckwahl 12 as the Jock Shop defeated West Herr, 80-71.

Randy Grey hit 21 points, and Tony Stewart and Steve Roah 17 apiece for West Herr.

Chris Hooks sank 24 points, Floyd Austin 19 and Bob Bogdanowicz 12 when The Pub downed Lakeside Laundromat, 78-72.

Guy DeMotte connected for 17 points, and Mike Greiner and Eric Johnson 16 each in the setback.
