To The Reader’s Forum: My heart leapt as I read these words from Twan Leenders in the last Sunday edition of The Post-Journal (April 19-20): “More boat inspections, wash stations, and better signage at launches could significantly reduce the risk of new invasives.” Finally, a well-known and respected local scientist is putting out the call and I thank him. Young Artists Program Benefits Area Students

To The Reader’s Forum: Several weeks ago several of us from the Chautauqua area community had the pleasure of participating in the Young Playwrights Project (YPP) with over 500 third and fourth graders from eight different schools in the area. This is an amazing program, sponsored by the Chautauqua Institution Arts Education Program.
