Christopher K. Rossi passed away peacefully on Feb. 12, 2026 at Charlotte House from cancer.
He was born on Oct. 12, 1955 in Amsterdam, son of the late Elmer J. Rossi Jr. and Patricia Parker.
He is survived by his sisters, Kim Rossi (Owen Gould) and Theresa Rajter-Pawlak (late Robert L. Pawlak); his niece, Christen Rajter (Vincent); nephews, Steven Rajter (Krystal), Theodore Rajter and Donald Rajter; four great-nephews; a great-niece; two aunts, Marcia Rossi and Deborah Joralemon; and his former brother-in-law, Alex Rajter.
Christopher graduated from Perth High School in 1974. In high school, he was a football, basketball and baseball athlete excelling mostly in baseball. He attended Orange Community College with an athletic scholarship, majoring in physical education. Following college, he moved to Queens, NY and began a career in Information Technology working for the stock brokerage company, Hambrict & Quist. He continued to work as an IT Specialist for a variety of stock brokerage companies working his way up to an IT Manager. He retired at the age of 66. He lived in Queens, NY but spent the last two years of his life living with his sister Kim and brother-in-law, Owen in Olean, NY while battling cancer.
