Norman M. Anderson, 91, of Falconer passed away Wednesday (July 24, 2024) in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
A lifelong area resident he was born February 1, 1933 in Jamestown, the son of the late Warren Anderson and Ione Mills Anderson Larson.
Norm was a graduate of Falconer High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1952 to 1956 in the Korean War. Prior to retirement he was employed by Fancher Chair for 43 years.
He was a member of the Falconer United Methodist Church and Church Choir. Norm was a past member of the Jamestown Choral Society.
Norm enjoyed spending time with his family, building and collecting clocks, and studying snakes.
Surviving is his wife Beverly R. Erickson Anderson whom he married September 23, 2000 in the Falconer United Methodist Church, a step daughter Yvonne Lanphere of Jamestown, a step son Michael Norberg of Jamestown; two step grandsons: Alan Wilson, Scott Wilson; a step great granddaughter Arya Wilson; a nephew Andrew Giles, two nieces: Grace Johnson, Elaine Sardi; several grandnieces, grandnephews; and a step sister Ruth (Edwin) Morales of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his father Warren Anderson, his mother Ione Anderson Larson, step father Morris Larson and his sister Mary Lou Giles.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Falconer United Methodist Church. Rev. Michael Childs pastor of the church will officiate.
Friends will be received by the family from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday in the church.
