Bethann Kay Holthouse

Bethann was born in WCA Hospital in Jamestown on May 12, 1968, to Glen and Phyllis (Augustine) Holthouse.

Bethann graduated from Clymer Central School in 1986. She graduated from Villa Maria College in Erie, PA in 1990 and received a degree of Masters of Science in Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics from Finch University of Health Sciences in Chicago. Bethann was a Registered Dietitian at UPMC Chautauqua since 1990. She loved her job and those she worked with. If anyone ever had a question about nutrition, Bethann knew the answer (without having to research it!). She had been a volunteer at Heritage Park Nursing Home, where she enjoyed visiting with the elderly. She was an avid reader, who loved the Bible, Bible Studies, going to Church and Sunday School. Bethann attended Kidder Memorial Global Methodist Church and was a former member of Abbe Reformed Church in Clymer, N.Y.

Bethann is survived by: her mom, Phyllis Holthouse: her sister, Nancy and brother, Steve (Laurie); nieces: Anna and Sara Holthouse; aunts: Doris Holthouse and Carole Holthouse; cousins: Carolyn Calhoun, Ann (Bart) Neckers, Mary (Brian) Jantzi, Mark (Valarie) Holthouse and Brian (Hilary) Holthouse.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Glen Holthouse; uncles: Merle (Edith) Holthouse, Ralph Holthouse and Gene Augustine; also a cousin, Rick Augustine.

Friend will be received Wednesday April 10, 2024 at the Abbe Reformed Church, 595 Clymer-Sherman Rd., Clymer, NY from 11 am-12 noon, where a funeral service will follow at 12 noon, with Pastor Thom Daubenspeck officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made in Bethann’s honor to the Kidder Memorial Global Methodist Church, 385 S.
