Marjorie P. (Benson) Taylor

She was born May 29, 1939 in the Town of Napoli, NY, the daughter of the late Clyde D. and Irene V. (Remington) Benson.

Marjorie was a 1959 graduate of Randolph Central School. She was a home maker and worked for Bush Industries in Little Valley, Randolph Central School as a Bus Monitor and for the Cattaraugus County Department of the Aging -Youth Bureau, working with at risk children.

She was a member of the Randolph American Legion Auxiliary Unit 181 and the “Lets Travel Club” in Cattaraugus.

Marjorie is survived by her son and caregiver; David (Laurie) Taylor of Randolph, a daughter; Sandra Taylor-Zeth of New Market, Alabama, five grandchildren, Curtiss Long, Julie (Dan) Bender, Caitlyn Zeth, Justin Taylor and Nicole Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald L. Taylor, whom she married on March 10, 1962 and who preceded her on April 22, 1987, a grandson, Jared Frederick and a sister; Charlotte Mae (Edward) McSherry.

Burial will be in the East Randolph Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.
