Kim F. “Scamper” Smith

Kim F. “Scamper” Smith, 67, of 682 Warren Road, Frewsburg, passed away Saturday July 2, 2022, at UPMC Chautauqua.

He was born Aug. 5, 1954, in Jamestown, the son of Tom and Gladys Watson Smith.

Kim had been employed for 43 years at the former Keywell Corp.-Vac Air Division.

He was a member of Brothers by Choice and enjoyed spending time with his family, motorcycle riding, and working on cars.

Kim is survived by his wife, Pamela Barlett Smith; four children: Gloria (Cesar) Miranda and Michael (Mindy) Smith of Frewsburg, Nicholas (Jeannie) Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Andrew Smith of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Breanna (John) Smith, Sharon Barrus, Samantha (Reid) Smith and Jude Miranda; three great-grandchildren: Auna and John Simmers and Vincent Ingrao; one brother, Rick Smith of Tucson, Ariz.; and four sisters: Bonnie Kotch, Marcia (Wayne) Babcock and Daryl Dallas of Frewsburg, and Kerry (Ken) Lyon of Phoenix, Ariz.

He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers-in-law: Dennis Kotch and Murray Dallas.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
