Dorla D. Felt
Dorla D. Felt, 81, of East Main Road. Dunkirk, passed away Monday, (Jan. 3, 2022) at UPMC Chautauqua, following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Brocton, the daughter of Gerald and Julia Abers Saunders.
Dorla had been employed as supervisor of HEAP in Salamanca.
She loved being around her family, gardening, and playing bingo.
Dorla is survived by four children: Ransom (Faith) Felt of Salamanca, Christopher (John) Felt-Mann of Jamestown, Frank Felt of Salamanca, and Julie Felt of Pennsylvania; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a brother: Clyde “Steve” (Debra) Stockwell of Collins; and two sisters: Pat Primm of Rochester, and Debby Stockwell of Dunkirk.
In addition to her parents Gerald Saunders and Julia Stockwell, she was predeceased by her husband, James Felt; four sons: James, Jeffrey, Wayne, and Terrance Felt; and two sisters: Geraldine Johnson and Beverly Farrar.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
No visitation will be observed.
The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg, is handling arrangements.
