Cary S. Ross

Cary S. Ross, 55, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Monday morning, July 26, 2021 at Embassy of Park Avenue in Meadville, Pa.

He was born in Jamestown on Feb. 22, 1966, a son of the late Paul R. and Barbara Wolfe Ross, and was a 1985 graduate of Jamestown High School.

Cary was employed by JS Auto Supply in Jamestown for several years and by Pep Boys Auto Stores in Charlotte, N.C.

He loved sports and working on cars. Cary was also a member of the American Legion.

Surviving is his brother, Kevin (Dawn) Ross of Meadville; a sister, Tanya (Chris) Ross of Hornell, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews: Brittany Ross of Florida, Benjamin P. Ross of Lynchburg, Va.. Randy Ross of Rochester, N.Y., and Parker Ross of Hornell, N.Y.

In addition to his mother who died in 2003 and his father who died in 2018, Cary was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Ross in 2020.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. David Miles, chaplain for Heartland Hospice of NW Pennsylvania, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials be made to American Kidney Fund.
