Nancy Lynn Boggs Swanson
Nancy Lynn Boggs Swanson was born into this world on Sept. 25, 1952, in Silver Creek, N.Y. She passed from this life on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, in Lafayette, Tenn., making her earthly stay 67 years, 11 months, and 21 days.
Nancy married the love of her life, Edward Lynn Swanson on July 12, 1969. They made their home in Forestville, N.Y., until 1999, when they moved to Lafayette. Nancy and Ed-ward were blessed with two sons and over 48 years together before his passing on Nov. 29, 2017.
Nancy was a member of Mount Union Methodist Church and loved her church very much. She was employed at Peyton’s Mid-South and retired in 2015 after working there for 15 years. Nancy loved her family with all her heart and soul. She enjoyed baking for them, especially her famous pumpkin rolls. Nancy also loved to work in her flowers.
Along with her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Chris Cosentino and Betty Raab Cosentino; father, John Boggs; and brother, David Boggs.
Nancy was very loved and will be dearly missed. Nancy Lynn Swanson is survived by her sons: Paul Swanson and wife, Christie, and Scot Swanson and wife, Rose; sisters: Nanette Perkins and husband, Dennis, and Tammy Schack and husband, Chip; grandchildren: Katie Gregory and husband, Ben, Megan Swanson, Christopher Swanson, Aundrea Paredes and Lynebeth Gates and husband, Cody.
Funeral services for Nancy Lynn Swanson were conducted on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Chuck Pruitt officiating.
