Dennis P. Maddox
Dennis P. Maddox, 77, of Fountain Inn, S.C., passed away April 1, 2020 in his home. He was born March 23, 1943, in Jamestown, N.Y. A graduate of Jamestown High School. He was the son of George and Allene Flemming Maddox.
He is survived by his sister Georgia Gundlach of Ashville, N.C., and Alice Maddox of Lakewood N.Y.
Den was an uncle to many nieces and nephews and great-uncle. He was loved so much by all.
He was preceded in death by Raymond Maddox, Jamestown, N.Y.; Diane Parinelle, Jamestown, N.Y., Helen Dickerson, Falconer, N.Y., and Frances Kelwaski, Jamestown, N.Y.
Den served in the U.S Army stationed in sergeant and a specialist communicator of Morse Code. He was proud to serve his country. Den was a graduate of Gannon University and Ithica College. He graduated top of his class as an electrical engineer.
A great keeper of his beloved pets. He took loving care of them and the love was returned in full.
Den had a special friend since grade school, Bob Howard from Florida. They kept in touch, a true buddy.
A gravesite ceremony will be held at a later date.
