FALCONER — The Falconer Village Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, July 13, in the Fire Exempts Hall, 3 Coleson Drive. The public is welcome to attend.
Bemus Point School Board To Meet Monday
BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Central School Board of Education will hold its reorganizational meeting on Monday, July 13, at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria at Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School. There will be a public hearing from 5:45 to 6 p.m. to get public comment on the district’s school safety plan. The public is welcome.
Stockton Library To Host Summer Reading Kickoff July 14
STOCKTON – The Seymour Stockton Library will host its summer reading program kickoff on Saturday, July 14, at the library, 22 N Main St, Stockton. The library will be open for regular library services and summer reading sign-up. The library is also hosting a free ice cream social from noon to 2 p.m. with the Chautauqua County SWAT Team arriving at 1 p.m. for a meet and greet.

Frewsburg Legion Auxiliary Meets
FREWSBURG – Members of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 556 in Frewsburg recently gave a $100 donation to the Harmony Express in support of their trip to Philadelphia. Chaplain Dee Dee Liden sent a variety of cards to Paul Wendel, Mike Langford, Lori Town, Greg Pierson, Dorothy Stoffer, Charlotte Triscari, Sharon Gross, Dick Moore, Lori Town, Sally Dallas, Ron Burch, and Ann Lombardo. Many volunteer hours were reported: one member for two hours at the flag burning; three members for seven hours at the Boy Scout’s flag presentation; two members for eight hours for the Memorial Day Parade; two members for nine hours for the Patriot Tour; one member for six hours for the chicken barbecue; and one member for 12 hours at the food pantry. Commander Mark Tompkins presented the auxiliary’s scholarship to Olivia Gray. Comics, canceled stamps, and coupons (expired up to six months) are still being collected for the veterans. Some committees are still in need of chairs. Theresa Levandoski has volunteered to do Education and Community Service and Cancer. Her mother also donated a flag quilt to the auxiliary for an upcoming raffle. The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 556 meets the third Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be held on August 18.
