Clifton G. Vaughn Jr.
Clifton G. Vaughn, Jr., 64, of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, in his home.
A lifelong area resident he was born Feb. 4, 1955 in Jamestown the son of the late Clifton G. Vaughn Sr. and Helen Shregengost Vaughn Lippert.
He was a 1973 graduate of Falconer High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. In earlier years he was employed by Blackstone Corp. and by Jamestown Malleable Iron. Prior to retirement he was employed by CARTS.
Clifton enjoyed playing in various pool leagues and was an avid sports enthusiast. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabers fan.
Surviving are his two brothers, David S. Vaughn, and Michael F. Vaughn both of Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jody Hendrickson Vaughn, his father Clifton Vaughn Sr. on Dec. 13, 1994 and his mother Helen Vaughn Lippert on Oct. 28, 2007.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
